Un vin totalement obscur fabriqué à partir d'un raisin cultivé à beautiful Oliver BC! Merlot, 2005. Le Coq.. Euh..? Sur le site de Enotecca, il n'y a pas de spec sheet ni d'information concernant ce vin. Seulement une brève description sur ce que produit Enotecca Wineries, vlan! Paresse? J'ai questionner concernant la préservation et voiçi la réponse...

"Le Coq merlot is not meant for cellaring although a year or so would probably benefit it… Le Coq is an introductory level wine from Enotecca (which owns Le Vieux Pin and laStella wineries). It’s made fruit that is not as low in yields as the Le Vieux Pin label and also the fruit is from a younger vine. In other words, our second label will be the ideal Tuesday night wine…"
Robe très cerise, aspect voilé, dépôts! Au nez, les arômes sont très herbacés et épicés. Thym et poivre. Bouquet intense de venaison! En bouche, les arômes perçus restent... impression amusante de guimauve rose! Acidité soutenue, bonne longueur. Alcool très chaud. Un Merlot bizarre, un vin obscur! Le point négatif est la sensation lourde d'alcool. Dommage. C'est un merlot 2005 de table qui goute la guimauve. Voilà. 50pts
